Due to COVID-19, the 79th commemoration at Pearl Harbor National Memorial held December 7, 2020 was not open to the public for the first time in the program's history.  

The entire 79th morning virtual ceremony was broadcast live.  The theme was Above and Beyond the Call:  Battlefield Oahu.

It featured wreath laying ceremonies at the Oahu military installations that were also attacked December 7, 1941 and a tribute to World War II veterans voiced by USS Arizona survivor Lou Conter.  The hour long 79th commemoration and the 79th program are posted on this website.
