80th NATIONAL PEARL HARBOR REMEMBRANCE DAY COMMEMORATION
Pearl Harbor National Memorial
Tuesday, December 7, 2021
7:50 a.m.
This annual Commemoration unfolds early on the morning of every December 7th to mark the start of that fateful day. On December 7, 1941, the first wave of Japanese aircraft attacked Battleship Row at Pearl Harbor while additional warplanes knocked out air defenses at other Oahu military bases. The island wide attack killed 2,390 Americans, and launched our nation into World War II. This gathering is filled with emotion and history with events that remember the brave souls lost and the ever dwindling list of survivors from the Day of Infamy. We also pay tribute to all World War II veterans who, as members of the Greatest Generation, saved us from tyranny by achieving victory and peace.
