Support Our Mission To Remember, Honor
And Understand the Day of Infamy
With each December 7, we see less and less Pearl Harbor survivors slowly rising to their feet to stand at attention and saluting during the annual commemoration in Honolulu. The once large gatherings of survivors who view the missing man flyover, pass and review, rifle salute and echo taps have dwindled to a handful. Last year COVID meant World War II veterans and the public could not attend in person. It was a tough call to have a virtual ceremony in a difficult year. The veterans love coming to the annual commemoration, and we are honored to host them. The mission of Pacific Historic Parks is to Remember, Honor and Understand the day of infamy declared by President Roosevelt and World War II in the Pacific. We are reaching out to you to support the 80th Commemoration this December 7, 2021. Gifts of all sizes help us ensure we continue to provide events and programs so that all generations never forget the courage and sacrifices made by the Greatest Generation.
